German Style Helles

Our Helles pours golden in color with a white head. Aromas of fresh baked bread & honey are balanced by a soft minty hop character. Brewed using European Pilsner, Munich and Cara malts using a traditional step infusion mash. During the boil, it is hopped using German Spalt Select and Tettnang. After the boil it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour and transferred to baudelot cooler. It undergoes a cool open fermentation for 9 days using a classic lager yeast. It is cellared cold for several months prior to packaging.
