Belgian Style Dubbel

Pours a dark brown in color with a caramel colored head. Aromas of Belgian yeast esters are balanced out by notes of dark fruit & raisins. The soft floral & spicy bitterness from the Styrian Golding leads to a dry finish. Our Belgian style Dubbel is brewed using authentic Belgian Pilsener, Munich and specialty malts and hopped using Styrian Golding. The raisins were soaked for 2 days in our barley wine prior to being added to the coolship. Finally the beer undergoes a warm fermentation using a classic Belgian Trappist yeast strain.
